About Food

The amur leopard lives in the tempurate forests of Russia and Chinawhere the snow is deep and the winters are cold. They need oxygen, water, shelter and food to survive. If they have all of this then they have a suitable habitat. The main food of the Amur Leopard is roe deer, sika deer, badgers and hare. But these are not the only animals Amur Leopards need for survival, mice, grub, berries, grass, cabbage and other vegtables are required for the survival of the Amur Leopard. This would make the leopards a tertiary organism. Humans are the amur leopards only predator the people hunt the leopards for their fur and meat. Another reason for the leopards is that they are so spread out that they rarley come in contact with any other leopards which makes it hard for them to find breeding partners, but if they do, the average litter size is about 1-4 cubs.
